September 2021 Beauty, Skincare and Wellness Empties

September 2021 Beauty, Skincare and Wellness Empties

The best products are the ones you use up to the very last drop and then repurchase. A few months ago I finally organised enough to collect my beauty, skincare and wellness empties, and I have done it again throughout September, and I'm excited to share them with you! There is such a range of products this month with some that I would or have already repurchased and others that I would pass on.

Brand: Norsca
Product: Aluminium Free Deodorant Roll On Rosewater + Lotus, 50ml

Price: $5 for 50ml
Where did I get it: Purchased
I would likely: Would not repurchase or recommend
Rate: 1/5
My thoughts:
This deodorant is formulated with no aluminium, sulfates, silicones, parabens or essential oils. It has a refreshing Rosewater & Lotus scent, however it doesn't perform well as an anti-perspirant or do anything to reduce the smell sweat.  I didn't have any adverse reactions, it just didn't work for me.

Brand: Mecca Athletica
Product: Skin Perfecting Body Wash, 200ml

Price: $38 for 200ml
Where did I get it: Purchased from Mecca
I would likely: Already repurchased
Rate: 5/5
My thoughts:
This is one of my favourite body washes and I'm already onto my third bottle of it. This advanced body wash has been formulated to gently exfoliate built-up layers of dead skin, unclog pores and target bumps and breakouts. My skin feels smoother through using this body wash and I get less sweat caused body pimples. The scent is neutral and pleasant, it doesn't clash with any fragrances.

Brand: Morlife
Product: Beauty Water Collagen Pantry Calm Berry, 8g

Price: $39.95 for 200g
Where did I get it: Came in a GoodnessMe Box
I would likely: Consider purchasing in the future
Rate: 5/5
My thoughts:
I mixed this through some yogurt and it tasted rather nice. Looking at the nutritional information each serve contains 5 grams of collagen and 200% of the recommend dietary intake of Vitamin C. Would I purchase this product - very likely.

Brand: Oskyn
Product: Tinted Facial Moisturiser, 5ml
Price: $90 for 50ml
Where did I get it: Gifted at an event
I would likely: Would not purchase
Rate: 4/5
My thoughts:
I typically like my foundation, moisturiser and sunscreen to be separate products and use them as I need to. I feel that a tinted moisturiser with an SPF of 15+ limits it's use which is why I wouldn't purchase this product. This is a beautiful multi-functional moisturiser that contains broad spectrum natural sunscreen to protect the skin. The sheer coverage natural tint provides light coverage for a healthy, radiant and even complexion.

Brand: Forty Fathoms
Product: Skin Regenerator Eye Cream, 15ml

Price: $24.99 for 15ml
Where did I get it: March 2021 Bellabox
I would likely: Would not purchase
Rate: 4/5
My thoughts:
The eye cream has been formulated to improve elasticity and firmness, reduce fine lines, minimise dark circles and fend off free radicals. Its organic formula is gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. I like the texture of this product and how a tiny bit goes a long way. However I personally do not think I would purchase this product as I'm still very much on the fence when it comes to eye creams, I can take them or leave them.

Brand: Swisse
Product: Collagen Glow Powder, 120g

Price: $29.99 for 120g
Where did I get it: Purchased
I would likely: Would consider repurchasing
Rate: 3/5
My thoughts:
This is a strawberry flavoured collagen powder. I bought this because it was on special at half price and for around $15 it was a reasonable purchase. The flavour was pleasant and the product was easily mixed into a glass of water. I do like that it also contains Vitamin C. Each serving has 2.5 grams of collagen which is the minimum daily dose of collagen that appears to be safe and effective.

Brand: Floral Street
Product: Arizona Bloom eau de parfum, 1.5ml

Price: $42 for 10ml
Where did I get it: Sample from Mecca
I would likely: Consider repurchasing this product
Rate: 5/5
My thoughts:
Fragrance notes: Balinese coconut, madagascan black pepper, oak moss and salted musks. It is long lasting, all-day long lasting. The scent it fresh and summery, it reminds me of linen on a dessert back drop. I absolutely adore this fragrance and it will be one I would consider purchasing in the future.

Brand: The Body Shop
Product: Polynesian Island Tiare Body Cream

Price: Unknown
Where did I get it: Received as a present
I would likely: Consider repurchasing this product
Rate: 1/5
My thoughts:
This product is no longer sold at The Body Shop in Australia. It is a rich body cream, scented with the floral, warm and exotic fragrance of Polynesian Island Tiaré. This hydrating moisturiser is a luxurious body experience and one I would happily repurchase either for myself or as a gift for someone else.

Brand: Cenovis
Product: Echinacea, Garlic, Zinc & C, 60 tablets

Price: $32.49 for 125 tablets
Where did I get it: Purchased
I would likely: Consider repurchasing this product
Rate: 3/5
My thoughts:
I take supplements like this one to boost my immune system, there are greater potency supplement options on the market however for the price this one isn't too bad. The tablets are easy to digest and there is no horrible after taste. I cannot comment on the effectiveness as I feel it is difficult to gauge however I do find supplements that boost my immune system do make a positive difference.
