March 2022 Beauty, Skincare and Wellness Empties

March 2022 Beauty, Skincare and Wellness Empties

The finest beauty and wellness products are the ones you use up to the very last drop and then want to repurchase. Once again I have organised myself enough to collect my beauty, skincare and wellness empties, and I'm excited to share them with you!

Brand: Le Lapin
Product: Cottontail Anti-Ageing Serum, sample pot

Price: $59 for 50ml
Where did I get it: GoodnessMe Beauty Box influencer collaboration
I would likely: Would consider purchasing, would certainly use if gifted
Rate: 3/5
My thoughts: I did not like the sample pot, it made applying the serum difficult and messy. I do know that the full size comes in a pump bottle which would have made my experience with trying the product more enjoyable. Getting to the product; it is a hydrating, lightweight and easily absorbed serum that can be applied morning and night.

Brand: Nutra Organics
Product: Mermaid Latte Balance, 100g

Price: $21.95 for 100g
Where did I get it: Purchased from GoodnessMe
I would likely: Would consider repurchasing, would certainly use if gifted
Rate: 3/5
My thoughts: I purchased this because I wanted a little extra balance in my life and I had heard positive things regarding the use of ocean minerals in bringing about a state of calm. The blue powder is mixed with hot milk to create a blue latte, which looks divine. The taste isn’t for everyone, it is a litter on the bitter side so you may wish to add some honey.

Brand: Acure
Product: Foil-Time Fortifying Silver Foil Mask, 20ml 1 sheet mask

Price: $12.95 for 20ml 1 sheet mask
Where did I get it: Gift with purchase from GoodnessMe
I would likely: Would certainly use if gifted
Rate: 5/5
My thoughts:
From an environmental point of view, I do like single use sheet masks as I feel that a lot of effort goes into the production of a single mask. This mask was lovely to use and really fun. The copy on the packaging reads “Carefully open and unfold. Arrange sheet mask on clean face, fitting mouth, nose and eye holes. Congratulations, you look ridiculous. Go with it. Allow mask to set for 15 minutes. Peel and discard. Massage elixir into skin.” Acure's silver foil mask traps the heat to open your pores for superior serum delivery of the niacinamide and glacial glycoproteins formula.

Brand: Milk
Product: Body Lotion

Price: Not known
Where did I get it: Hotel amenity
I would likely: Would not purchase, would consider using if gifted
Rate: 2.5/5
My thoughts:
As far as hotel body lotions go, this one is okay, it is lightweight, easily absorbs and has a neutral unisex scent to it. I wouldn't buy it for myself, but I would use it.

Brand: Milk
Product: Body Wash

Price: Not known
Where did I get it: Hotel amenity
I would likely: Would not purchase, would consider using if gifted
Rate: 2.5/5
My thoughts:
This body wash lathers nicely and has a neutral unisex scent to it. It does a good job of leaving the skin feeling clean. I wouldn't buy it for myself, but I would use it.

Brand: Unichi-11 Pearls
Product: Brightening Vaccine, 50ml

Price: $29.99 for 50ml
Where did I get it: Gifted through Bellabox influencer collaboration
I would likely: Would not purchase
Rate: 2/5
My thoughts:
11 Pearl Brightening Vaccine is a serum formula that contains natural Pearl Nacre powder sourced from pearl oysters grown in the pristine sea waters of the South Seas. The formula is designed to increase the skin’s moisture retention, brightness and over time, producing a more even skin tone. The serum wasn’t horrible, but I didn’t feel that it delivered the benefits to the same level I’ve experienced with other products. The product also has fragrance in the ingredients list, which I'm not fond of.

Brand: La Roche Posay
Product: Anthelios Invisible Fluid Facial Sunscreen SPF 50+

Price: $33.95 for 50ml
Where did I get it: Gifted at an event for Skin Check Champions
I would likely: Regularly purchase
Rate: 5/5
My thoughts:
Anthelios Invisible Fluid Facial Sunscreen SPF 50+ is a lightweight daily facial sunscreen made for sensitive skin providing very high UVA/UVB protection while delivering an invisible finish. The formula is fragrance-free, organic filter (also known as chemical) facial and specifically designed for sensitive skin types. The invisible fluid sunscreen formula is non-greasy and non comedogenic. La Roche Posay’s Anthelios range of sunscreen is my preferred choice as it doesn’t leave my hand s greasy.

Brand: Estée Lauder
Product: Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex
Price: $86 for 20ml
Where did I get it: Sample from Mecca
I would likely: Would consider purchasing, would certainly use if gifted
Rate: 4/5
My thoughts: The only thing putting me off from purchasing this product is the price point. I found that it delivered on the promise that "The oil-free formula delivers 72-hour hydration while simultaneously providing eight-hour antioxidant power and ensuring skin tone and texture is improved and pores look diminished." The smell of this fragrance free formula is absolutely divine.

Brand: Dr Dennis Gross
Product: Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel, 30 treatments

Price: $132 for 30 treatments
Where did I get it: Purchased from Mecca
I would likely: Would consider repurchasing
Rate: 5/5
My thoughts: It is no secret that I love the Dr Dennis Gross range of daily peels because they are easy to use; apply step 1 to clean dry skin, wait two minutes, and then apply step 2. There is no downtime, and they are safe to use morning or night. I incorporated the Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel to use on alternate days to provide hydrating and nourishing anti-ageing ingredients to my skin between using stronger peels from the Dr Dennis Gross range.

Brand: Alfaparf Milano
Product: Semi Di Lino Reconstruction Reparative Mask, 1 sachet

Price: $34.95 for 200ml
Where did I get it: Don't know
I would likely: Would consider purchasing
Rate: 5/5
My thoughts: This is a reparative mask for damaged hair. Formulated to strengthen and restructure weak, damaged hair, while also adding moisture to the hair. My hair felt incredible after this 5 minute hair mask, it felt strong and silky without being weighed down.
