10 Tips for How to Keep Your Identity Private in a Webinar

The extraordinary wide world of webinars, they have made it more convenient to attend events and at less of an expense. Plus you don't even have to put pants on if you don't want to. But what other dynamics have changed as a result of talks, seminars and workshops going online?

Previously you would attend a workshop or talk in person, and you may or may or not be given a name tag. Even then, you could choose how or if you wore it. You knew if it was being recorded by seeing a camera person in the crowd, you were well versed in how to maintain control over your privacy in these settings and you could visually see who was in attendance.

Now with webinars, you are inviting up to over 100 strangers into your home. Something I struggle with is that as an attendee your online privacy is mostly in the hands of the webinar facilitators, some will use controls to hide participants, others will not, and then there is everything in between.

The comforting thing is that you, as an indivi…

April 2020 Bellabox Review

April 2020 Bellabox Review

My Bellabox this month (April) came chock full of a range of skincare products. Some I've never tried before like the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser and others are old favourites like the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Moisturiser and Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Porefinning Face Mask. There is over $50 worth of products in my Bellabox this month.

For those who aren't familiar with Bellabox, it is a monthly themed subscription beauty box with 1-2 hero products which are generally full-sized, 3-4 beauty products which will often vary from subscriber to subscriber. There's typically a bonus product which tends to be a sachet sample. I have found that in each box I receive that there is an excellent mix of on-trend, new and classic health and beauty items. I have, on numerous occasions, purchased products after trying them through Bellabox, because I loved them so much. If you want to treat yourself to a wrapped surprise every month, then Bellabox is undoubtedly something I would recommend to you.

Here are all the gorgeous products that I received in my Bellabox this month:

Elizabeth Mott Queen Of The Fill Brow Gel, full-size, RRP $20.00 US

I have never used a tinted Brow Gel until now, and I'm incredibly impressed by this product. I received the Brow Gel in Light Medium, which works well with my dark blonde eyebrows in creating a natural look. It also stays on your brow all day and doesn't smudge. Which is a major plus to me as I'm always smudging my brows when wearing sunglasses.

Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Porefinning Face Mask, sample size 13g. RRP $69.90 for 60g

The original product from cult Aussie skincare brand, Sand & Sky, it promises to refine pores and to brighten the complexion, while drawing impurities and pollutants out from the pores. I can safely say it lives up to its many of its promises. Following the instructions and rinsing it off, I couldn't stop touching my face. My skin felt soft, smooth and supple.

Pantene Pro-V Blends Micellar Gentle Cleansing Shampoo, sample size 100ml, RRP $19.99 for 300ml

After just one wash, I did notice a difference; my hair felt smoother and smelled terrific. You don't need to use much of the product to give your hair a good clean - a little goes a long way. I'm not 100% sure that I would buy this product over my preferred hair care products.

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser, sample size 20ml, RRP $12.99 for 236ml

A hydrating cleanser that was developed by dermatologists to cleanse and refresh the skin without leaving it tight and dry. I like my face cleanser to foam up, even just a little. I find this product to be a bit too gentle on my skin. I would probably only use this product in the morning or after a day of not wearing makeup to cleanse and already bare face.

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Moisturiser, sample size, RRP $31.95 for 40ml

This lightweight moisturiser has a gel-like texture that is ideal for combination/sensitive skin with tightness, tingling, dryness and occasional redness. I honestly cannot fault this product, and I love everything about it!

A 5ml sachet of Alpha-H Micro Cleanse Super Scrub

Pet Circle $15 off voucher

In 5 words I would describe this month's Bellabox as "perfect for iso virtual meetings". I can't wait to see what beauty products will be inside my Bellabox in May!

Bellabox - RRP: $19.95 (includes Postage) on a subscription plan, billed monthly, but you can cancel anytime.
