May 2020 Bellabox Review

My Bellabox this month (May) came chock full of a range of skincare products. There are skincare hero products from Peter Thomas Roth, glam makeup from Essence, haircare from John Frieda, and much more.  In my Bellabox this month there is well over $35 worth of products.
As we live life holed up in our cozy homes, the need for delivered treats and self-care is even more important. This month's Bellabox has me covered from base to finish, thanks to a lovely range of skin and hair care treats.
Here are all the gorgeous products that I received in my Bellabox this month:
Essence Cosmetics Holo WOW! Sparkle Stick, full-size 6g, RRP $7
Bellas this month will receive one Essence product, I received the Holo WOW! Sparkle Stick. No beauty lover can ever have too many highlighters, can they? September 2019 Glow Getter Bellabox Review

This month's (September) Bellabox is themed Glow Getter, and it is stocked full with over $35 in products, ranging from face masks to lipsticks, fragrances to hair care, all designed to help you put your best glowy self forward this Spring. Everyone who gets sent the September Glow Getter Bellabox receives a full size Wet 'N' Wild Lipstick in a popping shade and a MCoBeauty Shimmer Brick that leaves all skin types with a flattering glow. I was also delighted to receive a sample size of a masculine floral fragrance from Coach, which I have fallen in love with.

For those who aren't familiar with Bellabox, it is a monthly themed subscription beauty box with 1-2 hero products which are generally full-sized, 3-4 beauty products which will often vary from subscriber to subscriber and there's typically a bonus product which tends to be a sachet sample. I have found that in each box I receive that there is a good mix of on trend, new and classic health and beauty items. I have on numerous occasions purchased products after trying them through Bellabox, because I loved them so much. If you want to treat yourself to a wrapped surprise every month, then Bellabox is the way to go.

Here are all the gorgeous products that I received in my Bellabox this month:

Wet ‘N’ Wild Silk Finish Lipstick, full-size, RRP $2.99
Wet 'N' Wild’s silk finish lipstick is enriched with the nourishing goodness of Vitamins A and E, and Aloe Vera. This range of lipsticks is designed to bring a pop colour with the ultimate nourishing satin finish. I received the shade What's Up Doc and although it is not a shade I would typically wear, I am putting it aside for a Halloween party that I have coming up as it's the perfect shade for my costume.

MCoBeauty Shimmer Bricks, full-size, RRP $18
I have a preference for palettes that offer the ability to add a little of extra highlight, as I find them forgiving and easier to use for those learning how to incorporate highlighting and contouring into their look. What I like about the MCoBeauty’s Blush Shimmer Brick is that it delivers an instant glimmer that you can build upon, leaving all skin types with a flattering finish. The colours within the brick provide options that are workable with any look.

Garnier Fructis Hair Food, treat size 100ml, RRP $6.95
I received the Garnier Fructis Hair Food in Banana, and it is a delicious smelling 3-in-1 treat for your hair. You can use this product as a 1 minute hair mask, a conditioner or as a leave-in treatment. With years of being active and taking part in water sports saltwater, chlorine and sweat hasn't been kind to my hair. Split ends, breakage and dryness are just some of the issues I face as a result of my lifestyle. Since trialing the product I've noticed a significant improvement in how moisturised and smooth my hair looks. I've been applying it as a leave-in hair treatment twice a week. After shampooing my hair and towel drying it, I comb a 1/2 walnut size dollop of Garnier Fructis Hair Food through my hair. I then leave my hair to air dry, sometimes I style it into a loose bun or ponytail. I've found this product perfect for use after a gym or training session when I'm short on time but want to show my locks some TLC. You can also use this product as a 1 minute hairmask or as a conditioner.

Cremorlab Nutrition Deep Hydro Plus Intensive Mask, 1 mask, RRP $59 for 5
The Cremorlab Nutrition Deep Hydro Plus Intensive Mask is a 2 section hydrogel sheet mask that delivers deep hydration that nourishes the skin. Sheet masks are really not my thing as I struggle with the amount of product and package wastage and the need to stay still for 20 or so minutes to maximise the benefit of using one. What does spark my interest about this mask is that it contains zinc, which is reported as being beneficial in treating sunburn (the kind of glow you don't want). I have put the mask aside to use after a day of surfing or after a long day of kayaking.

Coach Floral Blush Eau De Parfum, sample size 2ml, RRP $155 for 90ml
A bold and sensual fragrance, inspired by the brand’s iconic leather Tea Roses. Coach’s Floral Blush delivers an airy, colourful scent with sparkling notes of Goji berries and peony, alongside notes of white woods. I've been applying a spritz of this gorgeous springtime scent each morning as I head out the door to go about my day. I've been enjoying this sample so much so that I'm considering purchasing the full-sized product.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon and Extra Strength Serum, sachet
John Frieda's Frizz Ease Secret Weapon is a finishing creme that eliminates frizz and adds moisture, while the Extra Strength serum prevents heat damage and protects against humidity. Frizz caused by humidity is an issue for me every-time I straighten my hair, I look forward to trying out these two compatible frizz fighting hair products. Who knows, I might of just found my secret weapon to frizz free hair.

To sum up what I think of the September Bellabox in 5 words is... "pop of glow for Spring". I can't wait to see what beauty products will be in the October Bellabox!
