Under Armour X Sally Fitzgibbons

Professional Surfer Sally Fitzgibbons is one of the most recent athletes to partner up with US sportswear label, Under Armour. In her new role, she will stand side-by-side with Under Armour's lineup of global athletes. Some of which are household names such as three-time NBA Champion Stephen Curry, American World Cup alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn, professional basketball player Patty Mills, and American football player and five times Super Bowl winner, Tom Brady.

As part of Under Armour's new campaign, Sally has been snapped hitting the gym and lifting weights whilst kitted out head to toe in Under Armour.

Sally has always been one of the female athletes who I see being a great role model for women looking to be a professional athlete. I look forward to seeing what is a created as a result of this partnership. During her time with Roxy she played an important role in the release of their active range and inspiring women to take up some type of physical activity.

Whether it’s in or out of the water Sally has always worked hard to stay at the top of her game. Prior to joining the professional surfing tour in 2009 she ran track, played soccer, touch, footy, as many sports as she could fit in. One of her highlights as a teenager was winning gold in both the 800m and 1500m at the Youth Olympics in 2007. Right now it is her grit, determination, and will to perform that continues to drive her toward her ultimate goal of winning a WSL World Title - which she has come so close to in previous seasons. Maybe with the support of Under Armour she might just do it in the coming season.
